Modi – Netanyahu Gujarat visit likely on January 17

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu are likely to pay a day-long visit to Gujarat on January 17. This will be the first visit of any Israeli Prime Minister to Gujarat. Son of Gujarat Narendra Modi has visited Israel as Chief Minister of the State and as Prime Minister also. The union ministry of external affairs has conveyed Gujarat government that both Prime Ministers are likely to visit Ahmedabad on January 17. The earlier plan was to arrange this visit on or around Uttarayan or kite flying day which is celebrated on January 14-15. The idea was about participation of both Prime Ministers in kite flying festival. However, it is learnt the date of high-profile visit has now been shifted to January 17. Both PMs are likely to visit iCreate startup facilitation centre near Sanand during their visit.
