Fake notes of 2000/500 of face value of over 9.50 lakhs seized in Gujarat, two nabbed

Fake notes of Rs 2000 and 500 of total face value of over 9.67 lakhs was seized in Vallabhipur police station area of Bhavnagar district in Guajrat last night and two people were nabbed in this connection.
Police today said that based on a tip off a joint team of police and crime branch chased a motorcycle near Ayodhyapur. Two of the three riders of the bike were nabbed with 439 fake notes of Rs 2000 denomination and 179 of Rs 500 denomination of total face value of 967500. One of their aides some how escaped.
Attempts were on to nab him also. Those nabbed have been identified as Jaga Bhurakhia (31) of Rajpara village in Vallabhipur and Dalsukh Patel (42) resident of Botad. They were being interrogated.
Earlier in May this year a raid was conducted in Mandvi village under Gariyadhar taluka of Bhavnagar and fake notes of Rs 500 and 2000 of face value of Rs 17.98 lakh was recovered.
