IAF Chief Dhanoa in Gujarat urges air warriors to maintain cutting edge by optimum utilization of sophisticated combat systems

Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa today urged the air warriors to put in requisite efforts to continuously upgrade professional knowledge and expertise so as to maintain the cutting edge by optimum utilization of sophisticated combat systems.

IAF chief on the second and final day of his two day visit to Jamanagar air base while addressing the Air Warriors at a Ceremonial Parade this morning, also lauded the efforts put in by all personnel in maintaining the systems and equipment in a high state of combat readiness. The Chief also gave an overview of the planned acquisitions.

Defence Spokesperson Wing Commandar Abhishek Matiman said that the IAF chief was on a two days inspection visit of the front line IAF base since yesterday. He was given a ceremonial guard of honour at arrival on the air base here.

He was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Kamal Preet Dhanoa, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Central) and were received by Air Commodore Sanjai Chauhan VM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jamnagar and Mrs. Anjali Chauhan President AFWWA (Local).

The Chief of the Air Staff was briefed on the present progress of operational, maintenance and administrative activities at the base. He visited various combat units / squadrons of the Station and interacted with the Air Warriors during Barakhana. Mrs. Dhanoa interacted with all Sanginis of Air Force Wives Welfare Association and later visited various welfare ventures of the station.
