Minority outfit to start signature campaign in Muslim majority areas of Gujarat

Bhuj: Minority Coordination Committee Gujarat and Laghumati Adhikar Abhiyan Gujarat Kutch unit are jointly running a campaign for last two years for pressing their demand of setting up Minority Commission in the State with constitutional powers. Another demand is higher secondary schools in minority areas, ministry of minority welfare and status equal to Gujarat board to Madresas. According to coordinator Muhammad Lakha and Salim Sama, the minority community will make 8 demands. A signature campaign will be conducted in Muslim majority areas of Kutch. One lakh post cards will be sent to Chief Minister in first phase. In the second phase district collectors will be contacted in 29 districts.
