PM Modi through power of innovation catapulting India into one of great powers of world:Netanyahu

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu today said Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi was catapulting India in to one of the great powers of the world through the power of innovation.

During his address in the premises of iCreate which promotes next generation entrepreneurs and innovators here in presence of Modi whom he termed his long time dear friend, Netanyahu said that the world knew about i pod and i pad but it needed to know about one more i ie icreate which was founded by Modi when he was the then CM of Gujarat.

He said that PM Modi had at once understood the power of technology and youth which was the future during his visit to Israel. He had told him about seeing the fermentation of idea which were changing the world.

Netanyahu said, ‘Now PM Modi is changing India by the force and vision of his leadership. He is revolutionizing India and is catapulting it in to one of the great powers of the world. He is doing it through the power of innovation. He had once said that each one of us has a capacity to rise like a flame and i create was also doing exactly that by changing a small flame in to the roaring fire of ingenuity .’

He also asked the young India entrepreneurs to raise hands if they were working on an idea which can change the world and make it better and when many hands were raised terming it an infectious optimism of youths, the Israeli PM said that he and PM Modi were also very young and optimistic.

‘ PM Modi and I both are also very young and optimistic. We are young in our thinking and are optimistic about future,’ he said.

He also said that iCreate was not the first time when Israel and Gujarat have come together.

He said that Israel had set up several field hospitals during the terrible earthquake in the state in 2001 and many Gujarati children had taken birth in them.

Israeli PM also remembered the 100 year old battle of Haifa in which Indian soldiers had fought for Israel to liberate the city of Haifa and some of them were Gujaratis.

He said that Israel was ready to partner with India in every field including Water, Agriculture, Health and Life Sciences. He said that he had come here to encourage the young entrepreneurs and innovators.

PM Netanyahu ended his around 8 minute long speech in English with saying ‘Jai Hind Jai Bharat and Jai Israel’.
