7 suggestions Gujarat Finance Minister made before Centre in pre-budget meet at Delhi

Gandhinagar: Finance minister Nitin Patel today made several suggestions in the pre-budget meeting of finance ministers of various states organized by union finance minister Arun Jaitley.
– 30% subsidy in Solar pump scheme and inclusion of 10 HP motor in the scheme.
– Hike in payment to Anganwadi worker and Asha worker women
– Reduction in custom duty from existing 2.5 per cent to zero per cent on ships arriving at ship breaking yards
– Change in monthly date of payment of state’s share from Central taxes from existing 15th of every month to 1st of every month
– 10% reduction in excise duty to boost coastal trade
– Reduction on excise duty on fuel used for ro-ro, ro-pax ferry service operations from existing 20% to 10%
– Increase in duty levied on imported chemicals from existing 7.5% to 10%
