Gandhingar:

The state level function of the republic day on January 26 in Gujarat this year will be held in Mahesana in which governor O P Kohli would hoist the tricolor in presence of CM Vijay Rupani.

According of official release DyCM Ahmedabad will participated in the main republic day event of Ahmedabad district.

The list of minister and districts in this regard is as follows –

Cabinet Ministers-
RC Faldu- Surat, Bhupendra Chudasama- Rajkot, Kaushik Patel- Vadodara, Saurabh Patel- Bhavnagar, Ganpat Vasava- Valsad, Jayesh Radadia- Junagadh, Dilip Thakor- Banaskantha, Ishwar Parmar- Dahod

Ministers of State-
Pradipsinh Jadeja- Panchmahal, Parbat Patel – Surendranagar, Parshottam Solanki- Narmada, Bachu Khabad- Morbi, Jaidrath Parmar- Kutch, Ishwar Patel – Anand, Vasan Ahir- Patan, Vibhawariben Dave- Jamnagar, Raman Patkar- Kheda, Kishor Kanani- Amreli

In the remaining 13 districts of Bharuch, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Botad, Mahisagar, Porbandar, Gir Somnath, Devbhumi Dwarka, Tapi, Aravalli, Chhota Udepur, Navsari and Dang the respective collectors would do the flag hoisting.

Notably, the tradition to celebrate the national events like the Independent and Republic day outside capital Gandhinagar was started by the then CM Narendra Modi during his regime to directly connect people from other parts of the state with these.
