4 workers dead, 5 injured in chemical company fire following blast in boiler near Vadodara in Gujarat

At least 3 workers of a chemical company near Vadodara city in Gujarat died and 5 others injured in a fire that broke out this morning after blast in its boiler, police and fire officials said.
The fire in ‘GSP crop science’, a chemical company situated in Nandeshari area around 12 km from here, broke out at around 6 am this morning after blast in its solvent boiler. It mainly makes pesticides.
PSI of Nandeshari J K Patel said that 3 workers of the company died on the spot in the fire while 5 injured were admitted to hospital.
A Fire official on the spot Paresh Hirani however said that 2 more people were missing and search for them was on. The fire has been doused but the search would be completed only after the cooling process starts .
The blast in boiler was so strong that several parts of the building of the company away from the fire site were also damaged and window panes broke down.
