Anti Social elements mix up with protesters in Surat, heckle PI, mistreat lady police official

Surat:
Anti Padmawat protests gripped this southern city of Gujarat this afternoon as members of Karni Sena, Mahakal Sena and seemingly many anti-social elements held violent demonstrations in various parts of the city.
Police had to resort to baton charge in Katargam area of the city when they attacked a city bus and damaged its window panes.
The protesters crossing limits also heckled the local PI in Kakodara area of the city near Kakodara crossing where he was trying to control their hooliganism.
In a similar incident near parbat Patiya in Puna locality of the city a lady police station was also mistreated by protesters.
