Suspected anti Padmawat protesters torch bus of Khambat depot in central Gujarat

Suspected anti-Padmawat protesters burnt yet another bus in Kheda town of Kheda-Nadiyad district of central Gujarat today.
PSI of Kheda town police station Harpalsinh Chauhan said that the bus of Khambhat depot was returning to Khambhat from Maudi. A group of people stopped it near Sarsa patia in Kheda town and forced the all 27 passenger and the driver and conductor to come down. They then torched the bus which was almost completely burnt.
The matter was being investigated.
Notably so far more than half a dozen buses have been targeted by the protestors owing to which the plying of buses on several routes across the state has been suspended.
