Ahmedabad:
Even as question are being raised on repeated terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir, Union Minister for Home Rajnath Singh today said that the army and other security forces were delivering their duty the way they should and everybody should be assured that they won’t let the head of people of India (Bharatwasi) bow down.
Singh, who was here today to participate in the 24th All India Forensic Science Conference being organized jointly by the Gujarat University and Raksha Shakti University and inaugurate the center for spoken Sanskrit, told newsmen that everybody should be assured that the army and other security forces were doing their duty the way they should.
“They were doing their duty the way it is expected to be done. Rest assured that they won’t let the head of people of India bow down,’ he said.
On being asked about the details regarding today’s terrorist attack in the army camp in J&K, the minister said that as the operation was still on, it was not proper for him to issue any statement at this juncture.
To a query regarding repeated incidents of loss of lives of security-men in recent terror attacks, the minister said that though it was unfortunate to lose jawans yet the security forces were delivering their duty in the best possible manner ensuring the safety of the nation.
Notably, the theme of the 24th All India Forensic Science Conference is “Harnessing New Vistas in. Academics & Forensic Science”. It would be concluded on February12.Ahmedabad:
