Vadodara hit and run case accused released on bails within hours after surrender

Vadodara: Accused Rashmi Malhotra whose car crushed a pedestrian to death on Fatehgunj main road of city, was released on bail within three hours after arrest.
Rashmi surrendered in the afternoon at Sayajigunj police station, and was released on bail in the evening. Rashmi is wife of Subhash Malhotra who owns Rangoli hotel in city.
Police had made a case in such a way that Rashmi’s release was certain. As per the police Rashmiben had lost control of her car due to tyre burst. This argument helped to avail bail to Rashmiben within only three hours after arrest.
