Husband of local Congress woman leader in North Gujarat caught red handed accepting bribe from contractor

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today nabbed the husband of a woman member of Congress in Bayad Taluka Panchayat in Aravalli district of North Gujarat taking bribe in the name of commission from a local contractor.
According to ACB, one Raman Patel, husband of Congress member of Taluka Panchayat, Kantaben Patel, was nabbed red handed accepting Rs 11 thousand bribe during a trap.
A complaint was made that Raman Patel had asked for Rs 15 thousand bribe/commission from a contractor for a work in the Taluka Panchayat area.
He was caught red handed today while accepting 11 thousand out of it during a trap laid by ACB.
