Over 10 office of Samrudh Jeevan cooperative raided and sealed in Gujarat

CID-crime has conducted raids and sealed over 10 offices of a chit-fund cooperative in connection with scam and non-refund of investors money in various cities of Gujarat including Surat and Vadodara.
PI of CID crime P G Narwad said that raids at over 10 offices of the so-called co-operative ‘Samrudh Jeevan Multi-state Multi-purpose cooperative’ in connection of scam of over 3 crore were conducted.
Several electronic devices including hard discs and other documents etc were seized and the offices including those in Bharuch and Valsad were sealed.
Notably, the company had promised doubling of funds in a small period of time but it did not do so. It had committed such fraud in other states too.
