Amul to try grandma recipe, will launch Haldi-doodh (Turmeric Milk)

The healthy ‘Haldi-Doodh’ (Turmeric Milk), a traditional grandma-recipe for health immunity-boosting and safeguard from many common ailments, would soon be available in the market in cans under brand Amul.
MD of the Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited popularly known as Amul Dairy, K Ratnam today said that the production of the milk was already on.
He said that the time of launch of the milk in the market would be decided by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the umbrella body of the district diaries in Gujarat which owns the brand Amul.
He informed that currently his diary has the capacity to produce over 1.50 lakh cans of such milk in Anand.
Ratnam also said that the company was also going to launch a beverage drink, production of which was also on with the turmeric milk.
