Akash Ambani – Shloka Mehta engagement this June, wedding later this year

Mumbai: Akash Ambani, the eldest son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, will in June this year get engaged to Shloka Mehta, daughter of Mona and Russell Mehta. The Gujarati style marriage is slated for later this year in India.

Akash proposed to Shloka at sunset in Goa. Akash’s parents Mukesh and Nita Ambani, along with his twin sister Isha and younger brother Anant, joined the couple along with Shloka’s parents and her family members, and their closest friends for a celebratory dinner.

Shloka and Akash have been friends since childhood. Starting kindergarten together, their friendship grew at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, where they did their schooling.

Shloka went on to pursue a degree in Anthropology at Princeton University and earned a Master’s degree in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.She is a co-founder of ConnectFor, which matches volunteers with NGOs that need them.
