GIFT city and Deloitte sign MoU to promote IFSC operations

Gujarat International Finance Tec- City (GIFT City) – India’s First operational Smart City and International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (DTTILLP), which renders consultancy services, for mutual cooperation in areas related to International Financial Services.
GIFT City, situated near Gujarat capital Gandhinagar, is a global business district offering platform for business opportunities in International and Domestic business operations.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Ajay Pandey, Managing Director and Group CEO of GIFT and Mr. Abhay Gupte, Partner, DTTILLP, with an aim to assist domestic and international clients to set up operations in GIFT IFSC.
Both entities will also cooperate in the training and in organizing seminars and conferences on selected topics for enhancement of the GIFT IFSC.
Notably, Deloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, a UK private company limited by guarantee (“DTTL”), its network of member firms, and their related entities. DTTL and each of its member firms are legally separate and independent entities. DTTILLP is a member firm of DTTL.
