March 28, 2018
Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government will again start issuance of e-memos in traffic violation cases with effect from April 15. This announcement was made by Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh Jadeja today in the assembly.
The government had paused issuance of e-memo in last January till completion of the Smart City project in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Surat, Gandhinagar, Morbi, Bhavnagar and other cities.
E-chalans are generated through CCTV footage in cases of traffic violation and sent to home of one found to have violated the traffic rules.
