Ahmedabad: Installation function of Anklaw MLA Amit Chavda as new president of Gujarat unit of Indian National Congress is likely to take place on April 4 at the State party headquarters in Paldi area of city.

Chavda whose name was declared as new president of Gujarat Congress early this week is on visit to Delhi today to discuss the modalities regarding the installation ceremony, formation of his new team, upcoming state wide yatra of party and more.

State party incharge Ashok Gehlot and senior party leader Ahmed Patel are likely to attend the installation function of Chavda which is likely to be held outside the State party headquarters.

Aall India Congress Committee(AICC) general secretaries and zone secretaries are invited to the function.
