Shaktisinh Gohil appointed AICC incharge of Bihar

Gandhinagar: Former MLA and former leader of opposition in Gujarat, Shaktisinh Gohil who is at present the national spokesperson of main opposition Congress party has been today appointed as All India Congress Committee(AICC) incharge for Bihar State replacing CP Joshi. The appointment was made by party’s national president Rahul Gandhi. It was announced by party general secretary Ashok Gehlot.
Hailing form Bhavnagar, Shaktisinh Gohil has been MLA from Bhavnagar as well as from Abdasa. He lost last assembly election from Mandvi assembly seat of Kutch district. Bachelor Shaktisinh Gohil has been a minister in 1990s in Congress government in Gujarat. He was Leader of opposition when present Prime Minister Narendra Modi was Chief Minister in Gujarat.
