Arun Jaitley ailing from kidney problem

New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is ailing from Kidney problem. He may undergo surgery in near future. 65-year old Jaitley is being diagnosed by AIIMS team of doctors at his home. He is not hospitalised but he is advised to stay away from public due to danger of infection.
Jaitley is absent in office since Monday. He is working from home. He has not taken oath after reelected as Rajya Sabha member.
It is learnt that bariatric surgery, he underwent in year 2014 is responsible for kidney related complications. Jaitley had undergone this surgery to lose weight in MEX hospital. Due to related complication post surgery, he was taken to AIIMS.
Whether kidney transplant will be needed in this case is yet not decided. If need arises, he will be admitted in Cardio Neuro Tower of AIIMS.
Jaitley suffers from chronic diabetes. He had undergone heart surgery a few years ago.
