Vadodara: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today inaugurated ‘The Enjoy City’ on the bank of river Mahisagar in Central Gujarat. The amusement park project has been executed by Sakar Group following a memorandum of understanding(MoU) inked with the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd(TCGL) during Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in January 2017. According to the State government, the project has been executed with investment of Rs 1100 crore. It will create employment opportunity for 2,000 local youths.

The Enjoy City is located at Vavlod in Borsad taluka of Anand district. Once fully completed, the project will have water park, amusement park, temple, flower park and sports facilities. The portion opened today consists the water park phase.

Speaking in inaugural function, the Chief Minister said The Enjoy City will become a mini Disneyland in days to come. He said The Enjoy City will not use river Mahisagar water for its needs but utilize its own sources to get water. At the same time the project will recycle and reuse the utilized water through technology.

Rupani said the State government will prepare a comprehensive policy for recycling the sewage water in towns and cities.

Enjoy City’s founder chairman Rajesh Goradia welcomed the guests in the function.

The water park of The Enjoy City has aqua fabula, zombie slide, 3 body slider, zoomer side, open float slider, aqua slide, tunnel float slider, aqua wave pool, wizard slide 6 lane, kids water park and other facilities.
