Moderate tremor in central South Gujarat, epicenter near Netrang in Bharuch, no damage reported

Gandhinagar/Bharuch:
A moderate tremor of 3.7 intensity on the Richter scale was felt across central-South Gujarat today.
According to the Institute of Seismological Research, Gandhinagar, the epicenter of the single jolt felt at 1656 hrs today was at 38 km East Southeast from Bharuch near Netrang.
Meanwhile owing to the jolt many people came out of their homes and offices at different places in Bharuch, Surat, Navsair and Tapi districts.
However no loss of life or property have been reported owing to the tremor so far.
