Foundation stone for foot over bridge over river Sabarmati to be laid tomorrow

Ahmedabad: Inauguration/ground breaking for Rs 800 crore development works will take place in Ahmedabad tomorrow.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will lay foundation stone for proposed foot over bridge over river Sabarmati connecting the Ellis bridge and Jamalpur areas.
Ground breaking will also be performed for 155 mld sewage treatment plant, split flyover on Narol-Naroda road at Rajendra park cross roads, 9.20 million litre capacity underground tank with pump house in Khadia ward along with 25 lakh litre overhead tank, 6.94 million litre underground tank and 24 litre over head tank in Isanpur area, 4.86 million litre capacity underground tank and 10 lakh litre overhead tank at Saijpur, 4.44 million litre capacity underground tank at Viratnagar, revamping work of Vir Bhagatsinh hall in Gomptipur ward.
Allotment of 2805 affordable housing units in New West, Central and East zones will take place under Pradhanmantri Aavas Yojana while draw will be conducted for 2849 affordable housing units in West Zone and South Zone.
Permanent job orders will be distributed among the AMC employees.
