New Delhi: Ministry of Home Affairs is learnt to have withdrawn the Y+ security cover of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel after threat assessment review. Hardik had been given a Y+ category security by the Centre in November last year just ahead of the Gujarat elections, based on threat assessment by Intelligence Bureau. Hardik was active campaigner against the ruling BJP in those days. He was given eight armed Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) commandos.
