DPIL 2654 crore bank loan defraud case:CBI court grants temporary bail to Suresh Bhatnagar

Ahmedabad:
A special CBI court here today granted temporary bail to promoter of Vadodara based electric equipment manufacturing company Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd (DPIL) Suresh Bhatnagar , who was arrested along with his two sons in connection with Rs 2654 crore bank defraud case on April 17 from a hotel in Udaipur, on health ground.
The same court on April 18 had allowed 9 days remand (till April 27) of the three accused of the case including suresh Bhatnagar and his two director sons Managing Director Amit Bhatnagar and Joint MD Sumit Bhatnagar.
Today when the trio were produced in the court on completion of remand, on the request of prosecution the court extended the remand of Amit Bhatnagar till Monday while it asked Sumit Bhatnagar to send to jail in judicial custody.
The court also granted the temporary bail request of the counsel of Suresh Bhatnagar on health grounds and instructed him to be sent to hospital for treatment.
