Gandhinagar:
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) examination was today at various centres across Gujarat along with other parts of the country.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the examination every year for aspirants seeking admission to undergraduate MBBS and BDS courses all over India
The one sitting exam was held from 1000 to 1300 hrs.
Tight security arrangements were made for the exam and strict measures in place to foil any attempt of malpractice.
Meanwhile, around 60 students from Patna in Bihar had to appear in the exam in Patan of Gujarat, owing to likely misunderstanding during issue of admit cards owing to similar spelling of the two places.
