Jadeja comes to home-town Jamnagar amid busy IPL schedule to meet wife Rivaba

Star Team India cricketer from Saurashtra in Gujarat Ravindra Jadeja, whose wife was attacked by a cop here two days ago, arrived in his home-town amid busy IPL session in the wake of the incident.
He also met SP Pradip Shejul who had taken prompt action against the policeman.
Jadeja is currently playing in IPL 11 from Chennai Superkings. His team is to play the finals on May 27. His last play off match was yesterday.
Police constable Sanjay Karanjia had attacked and injured Rivaba Solanki on May 21. His bike had an accident with the BMW four wheeler of Rivaba near Sharu section road Seva Sadan. After that he had an altercation with the lady following which he attacked and injured her. She had suffered bruises on her body. The constable with C divsion police station was arrested and a complaint against him under section 324 and 354 of the IPC was lodged. He was also suspended.
He,however, was released on bail last evening by a local court.
29 year old Jadeja had married Rivaba, an Engineering graduate, in year 2016.
Notably, Jamnagar is the home town of Jadeja. His family lives in Rajkot and Jamnagar.
The unruly policeman attacked Rivaba and even dashed her head against her vehicle after the accident. People had to come to help her out. They caught the policeman who was formally arrested after the complaint by Rivaba.
A family member said that Rivaba was quite upset and somewhat depressed after the incident and Jadeja’s company was a like a much-needed respite for her after the unfortunate incident
