Ahmedabad: Municipal Corporation has announced ‘tree plantation at your place’ programme for upcoming monsoon season. Those who want Municipal Corporation team to visit their place and plant trees for free of cost can download AMC Seva mobile application and register their name to make a request. After a round of shower, AMC team will visit the place and plant trees.

The AMC made this announcement on the occasion of World Environment Day today. The AMC also announced its plan to cover Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) bus stand with vertical gardens. The AMC note said the work will be done by private party as sponsor on behalf of AMC.

Work for first of such gardens was launched near AEC cross roads based BRTS bus stand in Naranpura area.
