Surat:

An 8 year old boy, reportedly suffering from brain tumour committed suicide in his home in Sachin GIDC area of Surat district in Guajrat today.

ACP R D Faldu said that Akshay, son of Sanjay Patel hanged self from the fan of his room in Umang residency society of Sachin GIDC today.

‘He reportedly made a knot with the help of a nylon string and tied it with the fan the help of a chair before hanging self,’ he said.

Faldu said that his mother said that she was talking to a few of her acquaintances outside when her son ended his life.

Police was investigating the case from all possible angles.
