Services offered by Charity Commissioner office to go online in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today said, the services offered by Charity Commissioner office will be completely linked to technology. In order to make this possible, Charity Commissioner office’s website was opened today. The Charity Commissioner office serves 3,45,000 trusts and societies registered with from across Gujarat.
Through a new website, public trust registration process will become possible online. The citizens will be able to get information about any trust and related orders online. Online payment option for administrative contribution will be available. Change report submission – when office bearers of trust are changed – will be possible online. District wise directory of voluntary organizations and public trusts is available on the website for public.
According to government, Charity office data has been computerized. More than 3 crore documents are digitized. Various applications related to trusts are activated.
