Bichiya (Gujarat):

Aggrieved senior Congress leader and MLA in Gujarat Kuwarji Bavliya participated in a so-called community harmony conference (Samrasta Sammelan)of his Koli community here in his constituency Jasdan under Rajkot district.

Apart from Bavliya, who recently had a meeting with Rahul Gandhi regarding alleged ignore of him and other senior party leaders in the state, appealed those present in the conference to sort-out the petty differences in the community and work together for the uplift of Koli community rising above the political affiliations. He said that whatever he would do in future, he would keep the people of his community and constituency together who have made him MLA five times.

Another Party MLA from Chotila Rutviz Makwana also participated in the conference. He said that political parties only use Koli community for getting votes.

Former Congress MLA Bhola Gohil, who had during August 2017 Rajyasabha election voted for BJP candidate, was also present in the conference.

The crowd in the meeting was not a huge one as claimed by the organising outfit Samast Koli Patel Samaj.
