Himmatnagar:

The Vadali town in Sabarkantha district of North Gujarat today remained tensed due to protest against a case of alleged Love-Jehad there.

A Muslim Youth had eloped with a Hindu Vaniya girl of the town yesterday.

Though none of them was minor the family members alleged that the youth had tempted the girl and ran away with her. The two had reportedly got married.

Members of Local Hindu outfits and the family members of the girl today tried to block all important Himmatnagar-Ambaji highway along which the town is situated. They also tried to gherao the Vadali police station.

They gave an ultimatum of stronger action if the girl was not recovered and returned and the culprit not arrested in two days.
