Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has announced transfers of IAS officers.

Vijay Nehra has been appointed as new municipal commissioner of Ahmedabad. Ajay Bhadoo will be new municipal commissioner of  Vaodara. Following is the full list of new appointments:

Sandeep Kumar – Commissioner of Cottage & Rural Industries and Secretary of Cottage and Rural Industries, Industries & Mines replacing AK Rakesh

Dr. Vinod Rao – Secretary Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Cooperation (Cooperation, Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding & Fisheries) relieving Mohammad Shahid of additional charge. Rao will also assist ACS Agriculture in procurement process

Manoj Aggarwal – PS Social Justice & Empowerment replacing Kamal Kumar Dayani

NP Thakar  – Development Commissioner replacing Manoj Aggarwal

Kamal Kumar Dayani – PS Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs replacing Sangeeta Singh

Lochan Sehra –  Secretary Housing & Nirmal Gujarat, Urban Development and Urban Housing. She would also hold additional charge as Housing Commissioner replacing PJ Patel

Mukesh Kumar – Secretary Education (Primary & Secondary) replacing Sunaina Tomar

Anu Sharma – PS (Higher & Technical Education) to be in overall charge of Education department

Ajay Bhadoo – Municipal Commissioner of Vadodara replacing Vinod Rao
