Gandhinagar: According to Indian Meteorological Department(IMD)’s Gujarat office, heavy to very heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of Gujarat region and Saurashtra namely Anand, Dang, Tapi, Surat, Bharuch, Narmada, Vadodara, Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Bhavnagar, Junagadh with isolated extremely heavy falls in the districts of Saurashtra, Gujarat region namely Gir Somnath, Amreli, Diu, Navsari, Valsad, Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli during next 24 hours.

Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of South Gujarat region and Saurashtra namely Tapi, Surat, Dang, Gir Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Diu with isolated extremely heavy falls in the districts of South Gujarat region namely Valsad, Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli during subsequent 24 hours exceeding your limit commencing from 0830 hrs IST of today 15.07.2018.

Due to active monsoon conditions, squally weather is very likely to prevail along off South Gujarat coast during next 24 hours. For South Gujarat coast, wind will be 35 to 45 km per hour from Southwesterly to westerly direction. Winds speed in squall may temporarily reach 50 kmph. Sea will be rough with waves from southwesterly to westerly direction. Fishermen are advised not to venture into open sea during next 24 hours commencing from 0830 hours IST of today(15th July).
