Four from Gujarat in newly constituted CWC, the supreme steering body of Congress party, Madhusudan Mistry dropped

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi today announced constitution of Congress Working Committee, the supreme steering body of Congress party. Among 23 members of CWC, two from Gujarat are Ahmed Patel who is political secretary to Sonia Gandhi and Ahmedabad based Dipak Babaria who enjoys proximity to Rahul Gandhi. Madhusudan Mistry is not part of CWC anymore. He was in previous body of CWC. Former leader of opposition in Gujarat Shaktisinh Gohil who is Congress party’s national spokesperson and Bihar state incharge has found place in CWC as permanent invitee. Gohil is among 18 permanent invitees. Lalji Desai whose elevation in Congress party has been speediest so far has also found place in CWC as Special invitees for the position of Chief Organizer of Congress Seva Dal that he enjoys.

Those out of CWC as members are BK Hariprasad, CP Joshi, Digvijay Singh, Asha Kumari, Janardan Dwivedi, Sushilkumar Shinde, Kamal Nath, Madhusudan Mistry and Mohan Prakash. Those in as members include Mallikarjun Kharge, Tarun Gogoi, Siddaramaiah, Harish Rawat, Kumari Selja and more.

Those who are no more permanent invitees to CWC include Amarinder Singh, karan Singh, Makhal Lal Fotedar, MV Rajashekharan, Mohsina Kidwai, Oscar Fernandes, RK Dhawan, Shivajirao Deshmukh and Vilas Muttemwar.

G. Sanjeeva Reddy, Mohinder singh Kaypee and Raj Babbar are no more special invitees.
