Narmada irrigation water for farmers of Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, North Gujarat from tomorrow

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has taken a decision to supply Sardar Sarovar water to farmers for irrigation purpose through Narmada main canal and Sujalam Sufalam canal from tomorrow in the areas of Ahmedabad, Surendranagar and North Gujarat where monsoon has been weak so far.
Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, sharing the details of this decision said the State government has taken this decision in view of poor rainfall in Ahmedabad, Surendranagar and North Gujarat. Water will be supplied through Narmada main canal and Sujalam Sufalam canal from tomorrow, he added.
