10th Ginger hotel in Gujarat to start in Bharuch by next year, contract signed

Bharuch/Mumbai:Ginger Hotels, operated by Roots Corporation Limited- a subsidiary of Taj Hotels owning Indian Hotels Company Limited- that runs a chain of branded economy hotels across the country, today announced the signing of a contract for its 10th hotel in Gujarat located in Bharuch city to be functional by next year.
So far Ginger hotels are present in 6 cities in the state namely Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Vapi with hotels under development in Surat and Sanand. With this new addition of Bharuch to be started in 2019, Ginger will have 10 hotels with a combined inventory of close to 800 rooms in Gujarat.
Deepika Rao, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ginger said, “We are delighted to expand our presence in Gujarat and enter Bharuch by partnering Hotel Sethna Plaza Annexe. The modern day Bharuch is one of the biggest industrial areas in the state. The hotel will be ideally located to cater to the business guests.”
With 55 rooms, an all-day diner, a banquet hall and a fitness centre; the new Ginger is located just a few minutes from Bharuch railway station amidst a commercial hub catering to chemical, textile and pharmaceutical companies. The hotel is a management contract and is slated to commence operations in 2019.
Ginger hotels has a pan India presence of 45 hotels across 32 cities with another 10 under development.
