7 children of family in central Gujarat die in tragic road accident

Seven Children of a Muslim family died a tragic death late last night when the car they were traveling in fell in to a water body in Jambughoda police station area of Panchmahal district of central Gujarat late last night.
Police said that the children along with 2 girls were returning to there native Bodeli in Chhota Udepur district after visiting a relative’s place in Halol’s Rahim colony. The tyre of speeding car suddenly came out near Bhat and Jaban village on Halol-Bodeli road and the car fell in to the water body.
The driver of the car somehow escaped but the children identified as Bilal (17) Rauf (14) and Tahir (11) (all three sons of Mohamed Salim), Sajid (13) and his sister Ashimabanu (11) (both children of Altaf Hussain), Gul Afroj (13) and her brother Yusuf (7) (both children of Mohamed Taslim) died on the spot.
10 people including 7 children were present in the car when it fell in a drain in Panchmahal. 7 children have died. 3 people have been rescued & are currently undergoing treatment, said AB Devdha, Police Inspector, Panchmahal.
