AMC removes encroachment in Dhalgarwad-Pankornaka, Maninagar, Asarwa

Ahmedabad: Continuing its encroachment drive to open space for traffic and parking, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) teams today removed 50 shades, 116 otla on footpath/road and 128 encroachment in Bhadra-Dhalgarwad to Pankoarnaka stretch of wall city area to open the road in 800 meter length.
In similar drive, the AMC teams also removed 127 otla, 62 extension/shades, 36 cross walls and 142 encroachment to open a road stretch in 1100 meter length on Forensic cross roads to Meena bazar stretch in Asarwa area of city.
In another operation, 183 fabrication shades, 46 otla, 9 cross walls, 9 steel ladders, 2 bathrooms, 143 advertisement boards, 4 carts, 2 roofed carts, 1 galla, 2 chakdol ride for children and 138 other encroachment were removed in Jawahar chowk cross roads to Bhairavnath cross roads stretch, around Kankaria lake and Lambha turnig to Shri Ram Residency to Chandranagar char rasta(Karnavati chowk) areas.
