Rupani lays foundation stone for railway over-bridge at Thangadh, Surendranagar

Surendranagar: Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani today, on the eve of 72nd Independence Day, called on the people of state to be determined to set-up “Good Governance” in Gujarat. He also stated that it would be the foremost priority of the state government to fulfill the aspirations and expectation of the people.
Rupani was speaking at a function organized to lay foundation stone of Railway Over-Bridge, to be built at a cost of Rs. 48.31 lakh, at Thangadh town in Surendranagar district. The function was a part of state level celebration of 72nd Independence Day being celebrated at Surendranagar.
In his address, the Chief Minister narrated many people oriented welfare schemes such as Chief Minister Amrutam, availability of state transport bus to needy at a cost of just Rs. 1,200, instant cash assistance of Rs. 50,000 to the poor people in case of road accident, and others. He also urged the people to take maximum benefits such schemes.
Rupani also apprised the people about benefits to be avail from the projects like Bullet Train, Virtual Classrooms, Desalination Plant, Recycling of Waters, stringent implementation of laws in cases of violation of prohibition act, removal of encroachments, and others.
Those who graced the occasion included Member of Parliament Devjibhai Fatepara, MLA Rutvikbhai Makwana, and others.
