On his birthday, Ahmed Patel appointed as Congress party’s national treasurer

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi has assigned a major responsibility to Ahmedabad, a Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat on his birthday.
The Congress president has appointed Ahmed Patel as party’s national Treasurer. Announcement on this was made today, on the birthday of Ahmed Patel(69).
Ahmed Patel is already a political secretary of UPA(United Progressive Alliance) chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
Ahmed Patel will replace outgoing Treasurer Motilal Vora who has been appointed party’s general secretary(Administration) today.
