Assistant Director rank official of Industrial Safety and Health department nabbed by ACB in Vadodara

An Assistant Director rank official of Industrial Safety and Health department was today nabbed red handed here along with his broker by the anti corruption bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police accepting bribe for issuing a license to a businessman.
PI of the Vadodara unit of the ACB, K R Saxena said that Pragnesh K Gajjar (42), posted ast Assistant Director in the Joint Director’s office of the Industrial Safety and Health in Akota area here had sought Rs 27000 bribe through his broker from the complainant who had set up a transformer manufacturing and repairing factory. He had asked for the bribe to give him related licenses.
He and his broker Rakesh B Patel were caught red handed accepting the bribe during a trap of the ACB near the gate of a school in Manjalpur area of the city.
