Gandhinagar: Opposition Congress party has now planned a new caste-linked agitation, this time through Thakor Kshatriya Sena outfit which is led by its MLA Alpesh Thakor.

Alpesh aide Congress MLAs Bharatji Thakor(Bechraji seat) and Dhavalsinh Zala(Bayad seat) while addressing media persons today said the agitation of Thakor samaj(community) will involve commencement of Adhikar(Justice) yatra from September 29, discussion on reservation quota on September 21st, Thakor Maha Panchayat in Gandhinagar on September 15th, 10-point memorandum of demands before the government that includes district wise schools for Thakor community, a new Mega University, better assistance to Thakor community people in higher education, competitive exams, foreign education, low interest rate aid, loan of Rs 15 lakh instead of Rs 5 lakh, employment to widows, centres against intoxication, taluka-district-assembly seat-parliament seat wise agitation programmes led by Alpesh Thakor, demand to implement the anti-liquor law properly, justice to other backward class(OBC), a public meeting in front of gate number 21 of Maruti Suzuki plant in Bechraji on September 17th.

As Lok Sabha general elections are going to take place in less than a year period, Congress is mobilising its MLAs and aides to do caste-group wise agitations. Agitations of other caste-groups are also expected to take place in time to come.
