Amul Dairy to reduce milk procurement prices by Rs 20 per kg fat

The Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Limited popularly known as Amul Dairy, one of the oldest among 18 member dairies of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation that owns brand Amul, has decided to decrease its milk procurement price by Rs 20 per kg fat from tomorrow ie September 11.
CFO of the Anand based Dairy D D Haranjal today confirmed it.
He said that the price would be reduced to Rs 640 per kg fat from tomorrow from current Rs 660.
In liters term it would boil down to an average a little over Rs one,’ he added.
Notably its second reduction in prices by the diary in recent times.
Earlier Mahesana based Dairy Dudhsagar diary another one among the 18 of GCMMF had also reduced its procurement prices by Rs 25 wef from September 1.
