India’s first renewable diesel launched in Gujarat with three fuel stations; price cheaper by Rs 3

Ahmedabad: My Eco Energy (MEE), India’s first renewable fuel company, today announced starting of fueling from its first 3 fuel stations in Gujarat at Asoj (Vadodara), Bhatiya (Dwarka) & Kamrej (Surat). The company also announced its plan to launch 9 more fuel stations at Ankleshwar, Babar, Bayad, Daasa, Dholka, Idar, Malvan, Mehsana & Palanpur in Gujarat within next few months.

Sharing more details, the company said ‘Indizel is the first of its kind drop-in renewable fuel for diesel engines made from the non-fossil material. Indizel is also the most efficient & cleanest fuel available in India for diesel engines outperforming traditional & all premium diesel fuels in power, performance, mileage, economy, and emissions. Indizel can be used without any engine modifications in any diesel vehicle in any proportion. It is designed to not only meet but surpass engine manufacturer’s desired fuel quality standards like European EN 590, Indian BIS 1461/BS VI and Euro 6 emission norms.’

The company further said, ‘first, in the country, MEE fuel stations are unique as they offer complete user control & convenience by providing a fully automated fuelling experience where every drop filled is accounted for because of the end to end automation. There is both quantity as well as quality assurance, personalized & priority services and user control through the MEE Wallet App, enabling the consumers to load, fuel & track the billing and usage on the phone, eradicating all possibilities of fuel adulteration and pilferages.’

‘As per the latest amendment to the National Policy on Biofuels in May 2018, Indizel falls under the category of drop-in fuel for diesel engines. Hence, Indizel comes with a GST benefit of 12% for GST registered customers which can help them save up to Rs 9 per litre. For all consumers, Indizel is available at Rs. 3/- less than the normal diesel’s market price as an introductory offer,’ said the company in a statement adding that its fuel stations are ‘fully digitized, cashless, self-service fuel stations that guarantee quality and quantity.’
