44 lakh families in Gujarat to benefit from Ayushyaman Bharat scheme; launch on September 23

Gandhinagar: More than 44 lakh families or 2.25 crore citizens of Gujarat are going to get medical treatment of all kinds 100% free by government under Ayushyaman Bharat programme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the programme from Ranchi in Jharkhand on September 23. A function will be held in Gujarat simulteniously in presence of Chief Minister Rupani and Dy CM Nitin at Civil hospital in Ahmedabad. This detail was shared by State government in a statement today.
