First building on reclaimed land of river Sabarmati inaugurated in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today inaugurated Riverfront House, the first building constructed on the reclaimed land of Sabarmati Riverfront here. Riverfront House will have office of the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd(SRFDCL). This is the first building constructed on the reclaimed land of Sabarmati Riverfront. Portion of the building possibly the top floor will be opened for public eventually by availing a space to set up a rive view restaurant/cafeteria facility. A five-storey building has parking facility in three basements for 156 two-wheelers and 56 cars. Its 327.91 sq.m. ground floor which has capacity to accommodate 300 persons has been kept reserved for museum/exhibition space. Facilities such as conference room will be offered to corporate houses on rent to host the events. Total area of construction of this building is 16,594 square meter.
