Gandhinagar: The spell of light to moderate rain and convective storm in some parts of Gujarat continued today as well with Amreli in Saurashtra seeing over half an inch of rain.

Amreli saw 18 mm of rain while Dhari saw 8 mm, Babra 6 mm and Dasada in Surrendranagar 4mm. Some other areas of the state also saw light rain.

The met department said that light to moderate rain would take place in parts of the state in the coming five days.

Meanwhile, due to a system in the Arabian sea and the roughness thus caused fishermen have been advised to not to venture in to the sea.
