Axis – India Today survey for Gujarat: 43% satisfied with Rupani as CM, 61% with Modi as PM

New Delhi: Axis My India – India Today survey has thrown following conclusions regarding Gujarat:
– 43% are satisfied with Rupani, 27% are dissatisfied, 26% consider the government performance is average.
– Rupani is choice for the post of Chief Minister next for 48%, Shaktisinh Gohil 11%, Bharatsinh Solanki 6%, Anandiben Patel 3%, Nitin Patel 3%, Amit Shah 3%.
– 34% said they support Patidar agitation. 44% said they don’t support it.
– 52% are satisfied with the Central government. 22% are dissatisfied. 23% consider the performance of Central govt average.
– 61% say Modi is preferred choice for the post of PM against 28% for Rahul, Arvind Kejriwal 1% and Mayavati 1%.
– Among all states surveyed, Modi has found highest support in Gujarat at 61% followed by Chhattisgarh 59%, Bihar 58%, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan 57% and Madhya Pradesh 56%. Against this, Rahul Gandhi has found highest 44% support in Andhra Pradesh, the only state where his support has been found higher than Modi for the post of PM. Rahul has found 42% support in Karnataka, 39% Telangana, 36% Madhya Pradesh and 35% in Rajasthan as per the survey.
– The survey has not concluded exact number of seats BJP and Congress may win in Lok Sabha polls next year.
